Megabus USA App Reviews

Just pay someone some money to make an app. This is worthless. I have to plug on my information and twice because you cant actually get a ticket in the app. Super dumb.

I dont know why this app is in store. I use Megabus a lot. But this app doesnt allow you to book tickets in it directly rather it redirects to website. Then what is the use of the app ?

Fill out the search form and get redirected to the website...and then start your search over. You have to be kidding me. Terrible.

Their app used to be MUCH better (if my mind serves me right). This is total junk now! Seriously? Why? Its terrible! I would like to log into my account! I would like other city options! Are you using my GPS location? This is a mess. Please, please, please update and make look as pretty and simple as the site! Thank you from all users :)

I never write reviews, but seriously, this app is useless. Dont waste your time. Just go to the web site.

Waste of space on your phone. Cant buy tickets with the app. It just throws you to Safari browser. Not sure what the point of having an app is?

I like the direction that this app is going, but it still needs a little bit of work. I experienced an issue where the app wouldnt load and would stay in the pinwheel (had to delete and reinstall to get it to work again), but I like that Im able to see on a map where the bus currently is. Anyone that rated it one star should reconsider. I believe is properly three stars. With further improvements, it would be four stars.

For a great bus service to have this lousy an app is embarrassing . I tried to use it for my trip from reno to san francisco and it doesnt know that it goes there. Well Megabus Im on the bus now and it is going there. Please fix this app. Please

I was stuck on how to use it when it crashed, yeah its bad. Looks like a elementary kid designed it.

You enter (with difficulty) your trip details, and then, when you hit "buy" it....takes you to their mobile site to reenter all of the info over again, to complete the purchase. Deleting 10 minutes after installing!! Just use the website/mobile app!

The app doesnt let you login to your Megabus account, rather just view bus times. When trying to save a trip, the app crashes and forgets your information.

Half of the scheduled buses are not listed in the app.

I really see no use for this app aside from gps but dont we all already have that? It kinda comes with the phone..

There might be some sort of way to get it to display status/arrival of a bus in flight but I couldnt figure it out. Apps arent supposed too be hard to figure out unless this is secretly a puzzle. Its not Rocket Science.

1) App insists on refreshing of you have to switch out to view your calendar for example. 2) NO PRICING 3) After all of your itinerary is in place - THERE IS NO WAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS??!!! You select the buy ticket option which (wait for i....t /- as the drumroll builds) launches a browser where you have to start all over from scratch??!!! (Really really bad - youd think the least they could do (if this is the only option) would be populate the data you entered from the app. Nope. Non-starters. Huge waste of time.

It does nothing but a map and trip. I cant neither book nor check fair. Its a totally useless app, shame on the developers who wrote this.

Ive seen "hello world" programs more sophisticated than this. It basically launches the website. Which is pretty bad too. And the prices are high so why put up with it. The other companies give you buy 8 get one free or get enough points and book a free or discounted trip. Mega bus gives you nothing. They should fire that tech company they outsourced to. Makes them look like morons.

Previous version was helpful, but this version is useless. I cannot see my purchased trip, nor track any trips.

Everything I try to delete a trip I get kicked out of the app. Like app for tracking buses since they are becoming more and more unreliable.

Doesnt give important trip data - like arrival time. Cant navigate within app. Impossible to delete trips, but I finally did - by deleting the app.
